Day 1: Negombo

Right after you arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will welcome you and guide you to your Hotel in Negombo. You can rest after the long flight. Negombo will be your first Ramayana destination. We will visit Munneshwaram which is the place where King Rama prayed to Shiva asking for remedies after committing ‘Brahmahasti’, the biggest crime in Hinduism. We will also explore Manavari Temple, where Lord Rama installed his first lingam as Lord Shiva advised. In the evening you can take the Negombo city tour and Stay at Amagi Aria Resort.

Day 2: Anuradhapura

The next morning, after having breakfast, you will proceed to Anuradhapura. This is also the first kingdom of Sri Lanka. We will visit Ritigala. This place has 70 caves and is associated with Ramayana. Later we will visit Isurumuniya, a charming rock temple, and explore one enigmatic rock-cut sculpture “The Man and Horse” which is related to Ramayana Epic. We will stay the night at Rajarata Hotel.

Day 3: Jaffna

The next morning, we will head towards the Jaffna Peninsula. This is the main region of Hindu Traditions in Sri Lanka. We will also visit the Nallur Kandasami Temple. It is a landmark of Tamil Hindu cultural pride in Sri Lanka. After that, we will explore Naguleshvaram Kovil in Keerimalai and Nagapushani Amman on Nainativu Island. We will stay the night at Jetwing Jaffna.

Day 4: Trincomalee

The next day, after breakfast, we will proceed to Trincomalee to visit Thiru Koneshwaram. We will pay a visit to Sri Shankari Devi Shakthi Pitam close to Koneshvaram and the Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Kovil in Nilaveli. In the evening, we will relax in the sea atmosphere and enjoy the hotel atmosphere. We will stay at Trinco Blue by Cinnamon.

Day 5: Trincomalee

The next morning, after breakfast, we will experience the hot wells of Kanniyai. Hindu Pilgrims believe in the Kanniyai springs heal the mind and body of anyone who visits there. We will also explore Nilaveli beach and Pigeon Island. This night too, we will stay at Trinco Blue by Cinnamon.

Day 6: Sigiriya

Early morning, the next day, we will proceed to Sigiriya and climb up Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Here, you can see a classic example of Sri Lankan ancient architecture & talent. We will also explore Cobra Cave Temple which is located within the boulder garden of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress complex. We will take the Jeep Safari ride in Minneriya National Park, Asia’s largest elephant gathering area. This night, we will stay at Aliya Resort.

Day 7: Kandy

The next morning, after breakfast, we will visit Kandy. En route to Kandy, we can visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. In the evening we will proceed to the Temple of Scared Tooth Relic and enjoy the Sri Lankan traditional cultural dance. If you are a nature lover you can visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden as well. We will stay the night at Golden Crown.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya

We will visit Nuwara Eliya the next day to enjoy the lovely climate. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, we can visit and enjoy Ramboda Falls. Later that day, we will visit Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple and Divurumpola Temple We will pay a visit to some tea plantations and explore lush green surroundings and scenic views. We will also visit Hakgala Gardens and Seeta Amman Temple. The night, we will stay at The Grand hotel.

Day 9: Ella

The next day you will visit Ella, a place enclosed by wilderness, dotted with tea plantations, and home to gorgeous waterfalls. This place is one of the most beautiful places in the country. You will fall in love with this place. We will also enjoy the Ella rock trail for around 4 hours. We will stay the night at Hotel Chill Ville.

Day 10: Ella

Again the next day, we will stay at Ella to explore more. After the breakfast, you can climb Ravana Ella Cave which is a massive creation by King Ravana. And in the evening you will visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge which is flanked by verdant forests and tea plantations, standing proudly across the valley below. We will stay the night at the same Hotel Chill Ville.

Day 11: Yala

The next day, after having our breakfast, we will proceed to Yala and visit Kadiragamar Temple. This is a temple complex dedicated to the Buddhist guardian deity Kataragama deviyo and Hindu War God Murugan. And in the evening, we will take the Jeep Safari ride and enter the Yala National Park, the second largest National Park in Sri Lanka. We will spot various animals, birds, and especially Elephants. We will stay the night at Grand Tamarind Lake.

Day 12: Galle

The next day, after breakfast, we will head towards Galle. This is a beautiful place like a European city with European architecture. We will also climb Roomassala and enjoy Jungle beach which is a pretty bay nestled in a forested area. We will also visit the famous Galle Fort and walk around the old fort walls, watch Sunset from Galle Fort Wall and enjoy different food in evening. Our stay this night will be at Grand Tam.

Day 13: Colombo

The next morning we will reach Colombo, the largest city of Sri Lanka and its commercial city. The city hosts various cultural, Administrative, historical, and modern venues. We will visit the Galle Face Green, Old Parliament, and Dutch Museum here. You can also do shopping with your loved one here. We will spend this last night at the Marino Beach Colombo.

Day 14: Departure

This is the final day of your Sri Lanka Tour. You can have a filling breakfast and enjoy your morning on the beach before you pack your bags and your heart with the memories you collected throughout this tour. SriLankaPrivateDriver will bid farewell to you and drop you to the Airport.
